The mission of the Outdoor Recreation Program is to provide a comprehensive program of outdoor leisure activities for members of the military community. Hunter Army Airfield is located in Savannah, Georgia along the intra-coastal waterway and offers picnicking, camping and boat docking amenities at Lott's Island picnic area, campground and marina. Rent household equipment, grills of all sizes, a camper or choose from a variety of boats with inboard/outboard motors. Pass and permit offices sell hunting and fishing licenses at both Hunter and Fort Stewart.Annual events sponsored by Outdoor Recreation: Turkey Calling
