The sports program is conducted with emphasis on safety, participation, fun and good sportsmanship. All teams are coached by volunteer coaches that must be certified under the National Youth sports Coaches Association before coaching. Background checks are also performed on all coaches prior to start of season. Character counts—so all coaches, participants, and parents are required to sign a Code of Conduct for each activity. The program is designed to provide all youth the opportunity to participate, develop fundamental skills and grow in an atmosphere of sportsmanship, citizenship and team work. All participants will be evaluated, assigned to a team, furnished with a basic uniform, and guaranteed a specific amount of playing time. Fees are charged for all sports activities with discounts for coaches (the first child is free and each additional child is half price. The discount will be given in the next sports activity that the child participates in). Multiple children discount of up to 10% will be given to families that have more than one child in a specific sports activity. |
