Kids On Site
The Kids-on-Site program is used for short term alternative on-site childcare during meetings and social gatherings that meet the needs of the community. These events may include, but are not limited to:
♦ Community spouse's club events
♦ Volunteer appreciation luncheons
♦ Religious functions
♦ Family Readiness Group (FRG) functions
Kids-on-Site is only offered where parents/guardians are immediately accessible and available to meet unanticipated needs of their own children.
Child, Youth, and School Services provide the staff to care for children between the ages 6 weeks and 12 years during the event. Kids On Site increases the capability of child development services hourly care program as well as making meeting attendance more convenient and attractive to parents.
Child & Youth Program Assistants (CYPAs) are highly trained and qualified to offer age-appropriate child care for the session. All children attending a KOS event must be registered with CYSS prior to the scheduled care.
Organizations who wish to take advantage of Kids on Site during their meetings can make arrangements through the CYSS Parent Central Services office. Coordination must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the event. Fees must be paid in full no later than 72 hours before the scheduled hours of care.
Contact Parent Central Services at 767-2312/4968 during regular office hours for further information or to schedule a KOS child care for your community event.
