Newman Physical Fitness Center, 58,500 SF, is located at 215 W 6^th Street, Bldg 439. The latest addition, completed in October 2001, is equipped with an electronically controlled climate sensor and is designed with the "serious lifter" in mind. It is stocked with approximately 40 stations of free weight equipment and includes dumbbells starting at 5 lbs

up to 120 lbs. The room is adorned with 33 full length mirrors. The multi-million dollar Newman Physical Fitness Center at Fort Stewart includes an indoor Olympic size pool along with all the other gymnasium facilities to include administrative offices.
